    BOOKING CONDITIONS



    1. Scope of Terms: These terms govern all reservations made through the internet booking engine of Grand Hotel 2 Sandakan.

    2. Acceptance: You accept these terms on behalf of all members of your party.

    3. Confirmed Reservation: The reservation is considered confirmed when you receive a Confirmation Page containing your Transaction ID. Please save and/or print this for your records and present it to the hotel upon check-in.

    4. Terms of Modifying or Cancelling a Reservation: Modification and cancellation may be allowed depending on the rate plan policy as stated in the policy section. We reserve the right to charge your credit/ debit card for modification, cancellation and no-show fees as per the stated policy for your reservation.

    5. No-Show Terms : In the event that you do not check-in before the time specified in the Cancellation and No-Show Policies section, you will be qualified as a: “no-show” and the corresponding fees will be collected via a charge to the card on record. Peak period surcharges will apply. Should that card not work for this purpose, we will be in contact with you to request your assistance with your payment of the no-show fee. By 1 April with implementation of GST. Any refund will be less administrative costs as well as 6% charge.

    6. No Liability : Neither U Hotel, nor our online reservation provider nor any of our directors, employees, affiliates or other representatives, will be liable for loss or damages arising out of or in connection with your use of any information, products, services and/or the materials offered through this website and internet booking engine, including but not limited to, loss of data, income, profit or opportunity, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties, or any indirect or consequential loss or damages.

    7. Limitation of Financial Liability : In the highly unlikely event of an issue arising as pertains to a reservation, any liability to the Hotel and the online reservation provider for our website is limited to the prepayment paid at the time of reservation.

    8. Governing Law : Your online reservation is governed by the laws of Malaysia and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts. These terms represent the entire agreement between you and U Hotel Sdn Bhd.

    9. Privacy Policy : All information collected are used only to secure the reservation. No data is shared with any third parties.

    10. Full payment is required when guest check in.

    11. Management reserves the right to change any pricing without any prior notice.

    12. Local Government Tax of RM2.00 per room per night will apply for all bookings.

    13. By 1 April with implementation of GST. Any refund will be less administrative costs as well as 6% charge.


     


    CHECK IN POLICY


    • Check-In : 2 PM onward
    • Check-Out : 12 PM


    PARKING POLICY


    • Free and limited outdoor parking for Hotel Guests.


    CANCELLATION POLICY

    No-Show Terms

Should that card not work for this purpose, we will contact you for alternative payment of the no-show fee.


    • Peak Season Cancellation: During Peak Season cancellations will require full payment including surcharges. There will be surcharges for the following peak period dates listed. 


    HOTEL POLICY


    • A Refundable deposit of RM50.00 per room / per night will be required upon check in.
    • Peak Season Surcharge: Upon arrival, a surcharge will be imposed and collected at the property. – Public Holiday surcharge: RM50.00 per room night – Festive
    • Season surcharge : RM50.00 per room per night


    • Property Rules:
    1. Outside food is not allowed.
    2. No smoking.
    3. Late check-out may be permitted based on availability. Additional charges may apply.
